Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em Episode Guide by Steve Phillips
Frank is newly married to Betty and is living with his mother-in-law who is frustrated by him constantly breaking things around the house. Frank tries to help but somehow wound up losing the door to the coal shed. Betty buys Frank a new briefcase and wants him to do his best for a job interview. Frank attends an interview for a sales representative of wholesale ironmongers (or as Frank puts it, "wholeiron salemongers"). Chaos begins before Frank even enters the building when he makes a cute smile through the window and an assistant setting up a window display falls and destroys the display! When Frank is being interviewed by the manager of the company he accidently breaks an expensive bathroom thermometer, and collapses under a heavy metal cupboard. The manager's patience has worn thin and with great temper shouts at Frank and his staff. After the interview Frank leaves feeling confident that he got the job.
Look what happens when Frank smiles! :-D
